TAPS ban
Tobacco Control Law in Nepal has completely prohibited tobacco companies from Tobacco advertisements, Promotions, and Sponsorships in any form. However, Surya Nepal Pvt. Ltd. has been engaged in TAPS activities, including CSR activities undermining the law. Particularly, SNPL has been sponsoring national-level GOLF tournaments in major cities in Nepal such as Kathmandu, Pokhara, Dharan, etc.
